Samaritas
Samaritas of Bloomfield Hills is an independent and assisted living facility that is looking to update their current spaces to give their residents a more comfortable, resort-like environment. Research on various topics including lighting for the aging eye, wayfinding strategies, and safety precautions will be key in creating a safe and comfortable environment for residents. Through the use of warm tones and colors combined with the existing scheme, the updated spaces in this facility will provide both residents and staff with a warm, home-like environment that still feels like a resort getaway.

Alexis Mihalyfi
Alexis Mihalyfi is a fifth year student in the interior architecture program at LTU. She is a student assistant in the CoAD materialLAB, and has been a color guard member in the LTU Marching Band since 2018. Alexis is passionate about healthcare interiors, and after graduating this spring she will be working as an interior design intern at OHM Advisors.
