This semester I wanted to create a wheelchair that focused on standing mobility and a line of assistant products for those with and without disabilities.
My name is William Wallace and I am a senior transportation design major. I grew up in east Tennessee and have always had a fascination for cars. When I discovered transportation design as a career I knew immediately that it was for me. Here at LTU we were all exposed to many aspects of design and one in particular that has stood out to me was clay sculpting. I have always loved working with my hands and being able to apply that to car design was an absolute win in my book. I began shifting my focus from design to clay over the last few years and made it my goal to work as a sculptor after I graduate. Feel free to check out both my design and sculpting work on my website.
