Royal Palm Hotel Detroit - New Crop | Fletcher's

We had the opportunity to work with a real client who was renovating a hotel in downtown Detroit. This building was constructed in the 1920s and has historic precedent. Our clients asked for both a restaurant and a café design for the Palm Royal Hotel which is to become a Hilton Tapestry boutique hotel. This project included client interviews, field measurements, programming, schematic design, and design development as well as a final presentation to the clients. My project includes New Crop Coffee and Pastries, a bright and charming café design that caters to both Detroit locals and visiting guests. It also includes The Fletcher, a compelling stand out restaurant that caters to both hotel guests and downtown visitors with a functional floor plan and warm ambiance that resembles a night out under the lights.
