Designing for a local shoe store retailer

Designing for a local shoe store retailer in Denver, Colorado: This flagship store’s mission is to educate, support, and empower customers to improve and maintain their overall health and well-being through healthy lifestyle choices and to create a culture of wellness throughout the community. The flagship store aims to cultivate an environment that encourages health and wellbeing in the community and its residents, while also providing a vision for the future of retail through the lens of Millennials and Gen Z. This is achieved through strategies based on research as to where retail is heading; utilizing technology and an experience driven store while grounded in materiality inspired by the Denver area. The end product is a store that educates and celebrates wellbeing that could only exist in the Denver area.
