EVOLVE SHOE
Evolve Outsoles is a project based on multiple phases of training for athletes. The shoe utilizes one upper and three interchangeable outsoles to prolong its life.
Running shoes typically need to be replaced every 300-500 miles, with the cushioning becoming worn down and unsupportive. While the cushioning wears out fairly quickly, the upper of the shoe takes much longer to wear out. The shoe prolongs the functional upper and saves material in the long run.

Andrew Clark is a junior industrial design student from Farmington Hills, Michigan. He is also the founder of a mobile barber shop called Clark’s Cuts. Andrew is a highly creative individual with a passion for functional and aesthetic design across many different mediums.
