Summary of visibility graph analysis and axial analysis
Detroit
Topological analysis of the streets in Detroit captures a varied pattern of traffic volume and network centrality in intersections. Southeast Detroit (Mexicantown) has much robust regularity of traffic at intersections compared to East and Northeast Detroit.
Step depth analysis of Detroit illustrates the ringiness of the city and relative position and accessibility of Downtown Detroit in relation to other districts and neighborhoods. Northwest Detroit is the farthest from Downtown (in terms of street configuration and depth).
The entropy analysis of Detroit showcases the landscape of secondary roads and their relationship with major highways. Highway access are poor and highways disconnects neighborhoods.

The visibility analysis uses isovists to identify extent of visibility regions across different rooms and spaces in the building.
The axial analysis depicts all possible axial lines representing different ways of representing and understanding convex spaces in the building.
Comparison of visibility analysis and axial analysis provides a snapshot of human experience of architecture based on visual perception and movement across space.
