Vilakas Bench

The project was to build a furniture piece off of the inspiration of a well-known furniture designer. My inspiration for the angles and materials stemmed from Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s work. I used oak, walnut, and cotton yarn to construct the bench. The joints were constructed to be connected by only wood dowels.
