VERTICAL FARM and SUPPORTIVE MIXED-USE
The project was set out in the historic district of Detroit's Eastern Market. The objective was to create a new food manufacturing and production facility alongside commercial office space and a parking structure at a prime site location within the market. Additionally, the brief mandated the incorporation of sustainable design principles to make the building a hub for energy generation, with a requirement to adhere to one of the major energy building standards.

Hello, my name is Bhargav Paruthi, and I am an international student from India currently residing in Southfield, MI. I completed my Bachelor of Architecture in India in 2019 and subsequently worked as a junior architect with an architecture firm for two years before joining LTU in the summer of 2021. Currently, I work as an architectural designer for a commercial studio in a small satellite office based in Royal Oak, MI. In my leisure time, I enjoy exploring new places and trying different foods. I am also a sports enthusiast; I equally enjoy both playing and following various sports.
