Muslim Community Mosque
Zaineb Salie

This project envisions a sanctuary place reflecting the community’s cultural identity while creating a deep sense of belonging and connection. By blending multi-sensory design with thoughtful planning, the space becomes more than just a place it’s an experience that welcomes people of all abilities, encourages meaningful interactions, and offers moments of peace. Natural elements such as light, water feature, and textured materials that invite touch create an environment that calms the mind and uplifts the spirit. Every detail, from the choice of materials to the layout of the space, is designed to celebrate the community’s heritage while making it accessible and welcoming for everyone. The balance of light, acoustics, and texture ensures a tranquil yet dynamic atmosphere that supports reflection and connection. At its heart, this sanctuary is about inclusivity, diversity, and strengthening the bonds of faith and community, a place where cultural identity is celebrated, and everyone feels they truly belong.
