The building will serve as a central gathering place for residents and visitors, offering fitness facilities, multi-purpose event spaces, and social programs that foster community engagement. Sustainability is at the core of the project, with the goal of achieving LEED Certification and ultimately reaching net-zero emissions. The building will integrate energy-efficient systems, renewable energy sources, and environmentally friendly materials to minimize its carbon footprint. Passive design strategies, such as natural lighting and ventilation, will enhance efficiency while maintaining user comfort Beyond sustainability, the project focuses on accessibility and adaptability, ensuring that the space meets the diverse needs of the community. By combining innovative design with environmentally responsible practices, this building will not only provide a place for recreation and socialization but also set a precedent for sustainable urban development in Sault Ste.
