No Excuses is a campaign aiming to change the attitudes and culture around sexual assault on college campuses. It’s often a lot easier for many parties in sexual assault scenarios to downplay the issue, victim blame, or threaten others with the main goal being to get the victim or supporters to shut up. After all, when people are quiet about the issue it, becomes much easier to pretend it didn’t happen. This campaign pressures perpetrators to understand consent and take accountability, advocates for victims to speak out, and aims for all other third parties to stop ignoring and start supporting victims.
